Randomly Generated Monsters

Unique Monsters

Here's the information I gathered about the unique randomly generated monsters. I decided to include Lobh-Se, although she is not used yet. Note that the stats and enchantments might change according to players stats. I once had a Rondol with a -5 mithril spear that did no damage.

Rondol the kobold patriarch

A meteoric steel helmet A nymph hair cloak A meteoric steel chain mail an ommel hair belt a mithril spear +1 (skill 6/7) 2 nymph hair gauntlets 2 troll hide boots a wand of polymorph

Astr 13 Lstr 13 Dex 15 Agi 20 End 19 Per 26 Int 8 Wis 8 Cha 8 Siz 120 HP 121

Rondol is easily the weakest of the uniques. He drops a nice wand of polymorph when he dies. His attacks tend to land on the torso, and he is damn accurate with his mithril spear.

Guugzamesh the goblin king

A full steel helmet +1 an ommel hair cloak +1 a mithril chain mail +1 2 mithril short swords +2 (dual wielded, both skills 8/9) a ring of teleportation 2 ommel hair gauntlets +1 2 steel boots +1 some valuable stones

Astr 20 Lstr 20 Dex 20 Agi 30 End 24 Per 30 Int 10 Wis 10 Cha 10 Siz 100 HP 141

Guugzamesh drops nice valuables when killed. He is really good at blocking attacks with his swords.

Xinroch the skeleton warlord

A full meteoric steel helmet A phoenix feather cloak A broken illithium chain mail //can someone confirm if this is repaired when he is spawned against a higher stat character a flaming ruby sword (skill 10/11) an arcanite shield (skill 10/11) a ring of infravision 2 angel hair gauntlets 2 mithril boots wand of resurrection

Has TeleControl

Astr 30 Lstr 30 Dex 30 Agi 30 End 30 Per 27 Int 12 Wis 12 Cha 9 Siz 150 HP 175

Xinroch is a real meanie. His sword can burn an unprepared adventurer fast, but the fact that he can not heal himself will make him an easy target for hit-and-run attacks. The arcanite shield he drops is a nice addition to any adventurer.

Golgor Dhan the grand master dark knight

a full ruby helmet +3 a dragon hide cloak +3 a mithril plate mail +3 a sapphire belt +3 a sapphire two-handed scimitar +4 (skill 16/17) a ring of teleport control 2 spider silk gauntlets +3 2 ruby boots +3 2 scrolls of enchant weapon 2 scrolls of enchant armor

Has infravision

Astr 42 Lstr 42 Dex 28 Agi 28 End 30 Per 35 Int 28 Wis 14 Cha 14 Siz 200 HP 448

He is one of the toughest big guys. He has great items and pretty nifty stats. He wears no shield however and uses only one weapon. But he does enough damage with it, so I advice not to go close to him. Use wands unless you are confident that you can hack him. He drops nice scrolls when he dies.

Ur-Khan the orc marshall

A full mithril helmet +2 An angel hair cloak +2 A dragon hide armor +2 A ruby belt +2 A ruby halberd +3 (skill 14/15) a ring of teleport control 2 dragon hide gauntlets of strength +2 2 spider silk boots +2 4 bottles of ommel urine

Has infravision

Astr 30 Lstr 30 Dex 20 Agi 42 End 30 Per 36 Int 14 Wis 12 Cha 8 Siz 180 HP 671

Ur-Khan uses a halberd, so be prepared to have a lot of your gear break up. He drops four bottles of ommel urine when he dies, assuming you didn't break them when you killed him. He has a rather uncomfortable ruby belt.

Sherarax the mistress queen

An amulet of life saving A spider silk cloak +4 an angel hair armor +4 A dragon hide belt +4 A spider silk whip of thievery +5 (skill 16/19) A spider silk chameleon whip +5 (skill 16/19) A ring of teleport control A ring of teleportation 2 phoenix feather gauntlets of dexterity +4 2 dragon hide boots of kicking +4 2 scrolls of taming 2 wands of haste

Has haste, invisibility, ESP and infravision

Astr 32 Lstr 32 Dex 64 Agi 62 End 32 Per 48 Int 32 Wis 32 Cha 64 Siz 180 HP 253

She is perhaps the most feared opponent in the game. She uses her whips and dismembers you like a champ. The permanent haste she has makes her unbelievably fast. Notice the charisma of 64. She also has an amulet of life saving, which she wears. There is one thing that makes her more dangerous than Ischaldirh. The fact that she actually gets spawned. Ischaldirh only tends to appear when he's gone hunting bears, but Sherarax can actually be spawned with you in your normal form.

experiment ZQ-29 the spider silk golem

Note: Unlike other uniquies, it does wear or wield its equipment

A spider silk armor A scroll of change material The holy book of Sophos A wand of invisibility A wand of teleportation A wand of cloning

Is hasted and invisible, had infravision and TeleControl

Astr 180 Lstr 180 Dex 80 Agi 80 End 0 Per 12 Int 4 Wis 4 Cha 5 Siz 250 HP 805

Apparently the spider silk golem can not be seen by any mean, as he is a mindless creature so ESP won't work, and golems are not warm meaning infravision doesn't work. It drops some pretty nice items, including a wand of cloning AND a scroll of change material. The book of Sophos indicates that it has been created by either Sophos or his followers.

Lobh-Se the behemoth spider

Has infravision

Lstr 40 Agi 20 End 40 Per 21 Int 5 Wis 5 Cha 6 Siz 200 HP 4000

Not spawned in the current version. It seems to me that she'll have her own side-branch in the dungeon in the future versions. She does minimal damage and the only dangerous thing she has is her poison. What makes her annoying is that she has 4k hitpoints and 40 endurance. That means that killing her is almost impossible as she regains hitpoints faster than you can take them away. She is said to be the child of Scabies. Kaethos the village elder has a line describing her, but it is not used in current version. It goes like this:

"Oh, you're going to Attnam through the tunnel? I don't envy you. There's a dreadful monster dwelling in the its forbidden depths: Lobh-Se, the misbegotten daughter of Scabies, who exists only to devour any man or beast she senses. Through the millenia she has gained every imaginable disease and bitten by every existing poisonous creature; now she is practically invulnerable to all damage."

"Beware and avoid Lobh-Se at all costs! Fortunately, this is rather easy, as she only leaves her lair in the heart of the night and even then does not venture far, since nutrition is plenty there and she returns promptly when satiated."

Ischaldirh the dark archmage

A phoenix feather cloak +5 An arcanite chain mail +5 An angel hair belt +5 An octiron quarterstaff +6 (skill 10/11) 2 Dragon hide boots of agility +5 A scroll of charging A scroll of wishing The holy book of Infuscor A wand of resurrection A wand of striking A wand of cloning A wand of lightning A wand of fireballs An octagonal key

Is invisible, had infravision, ESP and telecontrol

Astr 9 Lstr 9 Dex 30 Agi 12 End 15 Per 12 Int 60 Wis 25 Cha 25 Siz 150 HP 108

Although Ischaldirh seems to have quite low stats, he is still the most dangerous foe in the game. He can summon golems made of really really mean materials, such as octiron. He can create evil clones of you. But those are nothing compared to the fact that he can pound you with spells mighty enough to kill nearly anything. He can cast massive explosions on you and summon bursts of electricity at you. He can teleport you, your limbs or your equipment away. He can disenchant your gear. And when you finally get close to him so you can end chop his head off, he'll teleport away and begins pounding you again. I seriously hope I will never have to face him. And so should you. I once summoned him at Attnam, just as a test to see if he has a chance against the kamikaze dwarves, angels and Petrus himself. He killed everyone in Attnam without getting hit even once. 'Nuff said.
