Interestingly enough, material-softening a golem only affects its limbs, so its torso remains the same and its name doesn't change. That still results in the golem being much weaker because of its inferior limbs.

I wonder if material-softening a golem is really just polymorphing them?

Maybe what is it made from? Wine turns into vinegar when it gets exposed to air. Maybe we need to add wine? Perhaps the vinegar in Attnam is really made from vodka?

There should be an amulet of inventory insurance protection that turns into money when another character steals your equipment.

Yeah we made it the same score multiplier since it was indeed designed to be hell. I think there might be fewer monsters to stay in TX compared with GC, so that might have a bigger effect on the max score.

Any suggestions for improvement of that particular dungeon?

Do you mean the water doesn't show in the pictures? Did the flames still go out shortly after the burning scrolls were dipped?

Ah I see. It seems that SDL1 has been silently deprecated during the course of development. Thanks for posting this on the forum I'll go write a note in the INSTALL file now.
