I think this still works. You need way more gold to keep buying food at the shop. Get to Attnam with heaps of loot and sell stuff at the shop there to get loads more gold.

Dunno, wield anything you can. Your axe is pretty good for now. I'd swap the shield for a lighter one if possible. Switch to better gear once you find it.

I recommend you try both IVAN 0.50
for the so-called vanilla experience, and the latest community built update, IVAN 0.57.

I haven't used the crafting system tbh. I think as a feature it is sufficiently hermetically sealed off from the rest of the code to ensure stability, but use it at your own risk.

After finding a rogue semicolon in the item datafile in a newly minted IVAN build, a half-hour game of whack-a- ensued, with me trying to delete the correct remote tag. Got it working with a bit of git bodging. Boy am I glad that I checked the zip file the first time around!! Note to self to build locally and try running the game before pushing the build tag for the production run

IVAN 0.57 is out. I'd better go eat a banana...
