Eh there's plenty of reasons that could be argued either way. Armor has weak points, and besides, it is IVAN we're talking about. It makes sense for a small seemingly weak creature to be able to permanently scar you.

By the way were scars a CVS feature or LIVAN? I can't remember.

Anyways I am in favor of only having scars affect HP and nothing else, does anybody disagree and think that they should still impact other stats such as agility?

Maybe scars should only affect HP, and not other stats? I never realized they affected agility if they were on legs.

Then the frequency of scars wouldn't have to be altered.

The concept of a mind worm seems fine but yeah ranged attacks targeting your head sounds possibly overpowered

How early are they appearing?

It does suck to lose that character and I am all in favor of weakening it. I think valpurium should always be the strongest material, and golden eagle feather the strongest flexible material.

However I don't think the fact that it was a one hit kill was necessarily unbalanced by itself. It's a completely IVAN thing to happen

Agree - I have been one hit by golems plenty of times but usually I get the danger warning first.

Did you have anything that was granting you the "bravery" status effect? I forget if that's the exact name. But it makes you "reckless" as well so you don't get danger warnings.

Angels' mirrored items do last a lot longer than items that are mirrored via wand.

By the way I enabled two-factor auth. For some reason that was "not allowed"

Surprisingly saw that several people are actively using these accounts

Vermis annoys me to the point that it's not worth it

However, spears & halberds have always been my weapon of choice, so it's a good skill to train until you find a better replacement

Rubbing a genie lamp is a similar high risk, high reward.

It's nice to have the option to steal if you're desperate, or just a thrillseeker. And I like any change that makes the game more realistic.

I like the idea of pilfering from the Attnam shops early in the game. Your character isn't that buffed yet, you're broke, and don't have any valuable items so it's worth the risk. You manage to steal some nice equipment, but finally slip up. The alarm bells go off, but somehow you teleport off to an empty corner of the map and escape the city. The entire course of the game is now altered - you can't return to Attnam anymore so your only options are to power through the Tombs or Gloomy Caves with your newly acquired gear

Nice work red!
