That would be nice, but it seems... too nice. I get that it's a wish/prayer request, but it feels like way too much control over the gods' actions. The gods are fickle, and yeah when you're praying you're desperate, but they also shouldn't be a guaranteed safety net.

Also, that would require the player to know what the gods are capable of doing. For a beginning player, we wouldn't want to reveal those things to them, we'd want them to find out on their own.

I love the automatic picking up of thrown items as well. This is the first time I've ever actually collected daggers and thrown them, and they're super useful for the fast small enemies who you can't keep up with (especially magpies!)

I was planning to try a sleeping gas grenade on Enner, but forgot to "apply" it before throwing it. He was 2 steps away from me at this point so it's probably good, that explosion might have hit me too. I didn't plan to melee him but with my first hit (whip) I knocked him unconscious (must have been a good hit to the head?) and was easily able to kill him in his sleep.

Anwyays I later picked that grenade up and forgot I was carrying it (totally my fault, not blaming the auto-pickup feature). Then one booby-trapped door later, killed by vomiting myself to death after a skunk was spraying me in my sleep. Such a humiliating way to go after handling the Enner so well haha

Haha come on guys, let’s keep this positive.

TX is awesome but I haven’t gotten past the 3rd underground level yet so I can’t fully appreciate it yet

I didn’t like the unwishable artifacts at first but yeah I always went with Mjolak too and I like being forced to try new weapons as well

Now that we've had several dev releases, what are everybody's favorite additions/changes?

Some of mine:

- 2x graphics... so much better!
- that headless zombies are blind. So subtle but such a nice detail
- the snake's flickering tongue and rattle, and the magpie's flapping wings! Just noticed those today
- some of the new materials and color changes
- cheat look when you die

Nice! Been a looong time since I’ve won the game

Yes this issue is on GitHub. It’s not any more common than it has been though. Seems like certain characters will see it a lot within one game and others won’t at all.

I want to see a map that's spawned as a giant battlefield! 2 teams... one with 100 human fighters, maybe a couple mages, and one with 100 goblins and some large wolves. How awesome would it be to see those 2 sides fighting?

I’ve seen plenty of bear traps in shops

That’s a funny story though. What if the creature that triggered the mine had survived? I wonder if Merka and his guards would’ve viewed it as an attack

Also makes me wonder how shops react to hattifatteners

I like a lot of those ideas Izzy. Does anybody know what the HP penalty is currently? Is it 1 HP per scar?

I love the charisma penalty!

I like the alignment with Scabies, it makes sense. But I feel like that would take a lot of experience for a player to discover on their own. So that means all of the early games they play, they'll be forced to go chaotic. At the very least we would need a message that hints at the connection, or an NPC to mention it.

And yes if scars affect alignment then it should be easier to heal them. But I don't know, I personally like how scars are permanent. It's cool to see your player show some battle wounds as the game progresses. Doesn't make sense to me for the player to be able to go down through GC and emerge with perfectly smooth baby flesh.
