Personally, I would eat it before considering it for fireball use. However I don't believe it rots, so you could conceivably hang on to it until the enner in case you can't find a wand of fireballs or otherwise suitable explosive.

Yes, I have also found a lantern near the start of game. Obtaining a lantern so early makes the game much easier.

I prefer shiny stones. Especially if you have blue, green, and purple, it makes the light look white.

I liked that one game I found an adamantium thunder hammer and an octiron thunder hammer. Because when Loricatus fixed them, I had the best light one can get.

Well, I got to GC11 and Sherry with that character. Well, usually characters with such finds are doing well, since we tend to be more careful with them, hm?

I find that every char I get that finds amazing items always finds its end at the hands of either a mine, enner, kamikaze dwarf or mystic dark frog.
System would indicate in graphic if person is mounted on horse or not.
Same system also show if person mounted on boar, elephant, polar bear etc.
Or if person mounted on ass.
Ivan find mounting on ass funny.

Really? Flaming swords make things so much easier due to the unblockable burn damage.

Just found a wand of cloning in UT1. Unsuprisingly, as soon as I got to GC, a land mine blew me to bits.
Right, now you killed me. Happy?

I found an Amulet of ESP in the starting room today. Not an amazing item, but it sure was helpful. Notice the past tense there.

I've not been playing IVAN that long (in terms of actual game play - maybe someone remembers my few posts a little over a year ago?).

In the very beginning of UT1, I found an Ommel Tooth Armor +1 or 2 with an AV of 26 as I remember it.

Wearing it had a heavy penalty (-3, I believe) to both DEX and AGI, but it gave a several point bonus to END. I was so sad when that character kicked the bucket...

Hopefully I'll get a bones file sometime. If I do, I'll give you the exact stats of this armor, since I could be slightly wrong.
I stepped on a mine in a minefield, while holding a gunpowder backpack and a wand of fireballs. I was wearing two rings of fire protection, so despite my demise I was relatively unhurt.

Wow, an adamantine long sword +3. From Loricatus, I presume?
