Nefas is the goddess of forbidden pleasures. Her alignment is C, chaotic.
Praying
When pleased, Nefas will
- grant nutrition if the player is very hungry or worse,
- if any nearby monsters are present, confuses them,
Nefas confuses the creature with her sweet lies.
You hear a sweet voice inside your head: "Have fun, mortal!"
As all gods, she may also grow you a new limb made of an aligned material, give you an aligned item, or when very pleased give you a temporary pet angel.
When angry, she will shatter a bottle over your head, dealing damage to your head and dropping a broken bottle on the floor.
Notes
- Altars to Nefas are found randomly through the dungeons, or you can read a holy book to learn her rites.
- Nefas is very useful especially early in the game, when a pet mistress can wipe the floor with nearly all opposition.
- It is problematic to have multiple pet mistresses at once, as they are sadomasochistic and will whip each other to death. This can be slowed by giving them non-sadistic weapons, but they will still occasionally kick each other.
