Damn it, the idiots at my hosting company screwed everything up. I'm going to have to ask them to make the changes AGAIN, and we'll have to wait another 48 hours.

Looks good, hopefully forwarding works. Thanks! Forwarding old messages is not required. Does that work as a jabber client too?

Eagle: Great!
Z: I'm not sure what you mean. There is GChat enabled, yes.

PS: the new URL is easy to remember:

Yeah, finally a URL to remember

GChat and Jabber are two different protocols... Gmail USED TO (?) work as an msn messenger adress I think, Z was asking whether it is usable for jabber (another messaging system, through the xmpp protocol. It's cool, I sugget reading some stuff about it ).
Well I assume that a bolt has a given, numeric, amouunt of perwer. (assi in enegri)... unless it's LAERSER SKISKLS POEWN PEWN!

I do want one but not that badly; I already have 3 email addresses that work just fine.
Same here, but...

I'll just go ahead and grab it anyway

What do I do, set up a gmail account and let you know?

No, just tell me what username you want. This is powered by Gmail but entirely separate from it.

May I have one? 'Josiah' would be nice to have.

For those with email accounts, I've transitioned to make them full Google Apps accounts. This means that, if you have other gmail accounts, you can enable multiple sign-in. This is something you must opt-in to on all of your Google accounts.

Click the gear on the top right of the screen and go to "Account settings." Then you will see that Multiple sign-in is "Off." Click "Edit" and change it to on. Then, next time you visit your Attnam.com email account, you can click the drop down in the top right to switch to another account. You can actually stay logged in to multiple accounts at once in different tabs. No more pain of having to logout and log back in to check multiple accounts!

It's kinda creepy that you can read everyone's private e-mail now though.

He might have been able to before. I'd prefer he stays out of my shit but I could never be arsed to make a proper gmail account. Maybe I should.
Proudly bringing disaster and mental scarring to Attnam since '05!

mmm... what? Nothing has changed. This allows you to switch between your attnam and other gmail accounts. This doesn't allow me to switch between my and other people's attnam accounts. So for example I can keep 2 gmail tabs open, one for capristo AT attnam and the other for andrew AT midwestscc, without having to logout and login to check the multiple accounts.

I guess I could change your password and login, but then you'd know because I wouldn't be able to reset it to what you set it as. And I was always able to do that.

When you enabled this Google Apps stuff, it warned me that the administrator (you) may access or delete any of the data in my account.

That was always true though, since I was always able to change your password. But again, you would know if I did that. This change hasn't added any "check this person's mail" feature to the admin.

By the way I enabled two-factor auth. For some reason that was "not allowed"

Surprisingly saw that several people are actively using these accounts
