I am stuck trying to beat enner. No ?oDetectMaterial and no wand of fireballs. I cant seem to find him and go right to red on the chest after a few turns on the level despite having 75HP and arcanite plate. I have ESP and am trying to train up my INT but its slow going. any suggestions?

If your chest is going red with significant protection and HP it means that he's close by! Just keeping going in the direction that kills you faster!
System would indicate in graphic if person is mounted on horse or not.
Same system also show if person mounted on boar, elephant, polar bear etc.
Or if person mounted on ass.

Enner beasts are invisible to ESP! Make sure you've got plenty of healing liquid/troll blood to survive long enough. Got any wands of striking or lightning?

Both striking and lightning are sadly very ineffective against enner, so you better have multiple wands to take him down.

If you're good at melee and have haste, telecontrol & teleport, whacking him to bits is pretty safe if the teleport is timed right after a scream. You'll of course need to know where he is to do it.

You could consider polymorphing yourself...?

Ghosts are both immune to Enner's screams and can run from him through walls, if you have polycontrol.

As a matter of fact, Enner doesn't have any attacks besides the screams, so you can freely poke him to death as a ghost.

You can also try landmines if you're feeling really ballsy.

If you're next to a floor tile you can just walk out. If you're stuck deeper in the wall, you'd better have a pickaxe or a means of teleporting, or you're not getting out.

That is I would try the poly/ghost thing if I had ever seen a ghost in this game, which I havent, so I can't. >:^(

Isn't that irrelevant if you randomly polymorph?

Yep. And ghosts are quite common in random polymorphing.

On the other hand, if you have that many polymorph charges you could probably get wands of fireballs/striking from polypiling.

Plus if you haven't seen a ghost, go to Attnam Catacombs. There you can't miss one.

Am I missing something? Do you have to have encountered a creature to be able to polymorph into it with polycontrol?
