Dragon Caves are a new dungeon added by the [[IVANT]] [[Variant]], being accessed from [[Gloomy Caves]] level 2. They are nine levels deep and contain new dragon-themed enemies (cute widdle dragons, stupid looking dragons, mean nasty dragons, blue dragons and dragon tamers), the deeper you go the more of them and more powerful of them will you get.

Mellis is the god of money, trade, and politics. His alignment is N-, chaotic neutral.

Praying

When pleased, Mellis will

  • replace up to 5 empty bottles and cans with full ones, or
  • teach you about a god you do not yet know, or
  • give you some money (with the amount dependant on your Wisdom).

As all gods, he may also grow you a new limb made of an aligned material, give you an aligned item, or when very pleased give you a temporary pet angel.

When angry, he will spread bad rumors about you to the other gods, lowering your favor with all of them.

Altars

There are no guaranteed locations for altars to Mellis. However, he is the patron of shopkeepers and they are usually fund carrying his holy book.

Strategy

Mellis is one of the best (if not the best) gods in the game, as his prayer can result in a variety of powerful, permanent boons. Aside from free food and healing, he will sometimes give you ommel excretions, boosting your attributes. The money he gives you is also nothing to scoff at, especially early in the game.

Aligned Items

Offering these items to Mellis at his altar will receive a greater bonus towards your favor with him:

or any item made of an aligned material. See the List of materials for more details.
