No, he hasn't. He's busy I believe. Last I heard he spends what free time he has with friends and on MSN.

Just had a horrible death yesterday. I found leather armour, a steel sword, a scroll of something and a wand of mirroring right off the bat. 10 turns later, me and Kenny got tag-teamed by a hedgehog and a pair of kobolds with an iron mace and an iron dagger. Kenny died instantly, I died soon after.

For some reason, I found the following funny:

It turned out the actual cause of death was mustard gas, but there were quite a few more messages below that, and that's how the final three lines looked like. I only learned how I really died from the score list...

Hahaha yes it's really nonsense if you only read that 3 last lines.

"Killed by a new leg given by Seges in..."

Today was probably my most frustrating and horrible death to date: Transformed into a werewolf while flying over the sea with a belt of levitation.

I presumed the priestess of Silva in New Attnam could cure lycanthropy. I won't find out now

(at least I managed to kill Merka in this game)

That reminds me of the time I polymorphed into a skeleton while levitating to New Attnam...

Had a character get warped to GC 4 through a pool form GC 1. On my way back up, I went up the stairs that should've brought me to GC 2, but instead I found myself standing in the octiron room on the golden portal that leads to Oree's lair. After staring flabbergasted at the screen for several seconds, I went through the portal and was disemboweled by mistress warladies with +6 whips before I got a turn.

Oh, and the turn-into-a-werewolf-while-over-water-with-a-belt-of-levitation thing has happed to me as well. -_-

Just had one not so nice death. I was in GC2 or 3, fighting wolves. I managed to kill several of them, but then I panicked. I had managed to run from most of the wolves and dark frogs, and when necessary, I used a wand of teleportation. Then I was cornered to a room with dark frogs, and unable to attack anything. I got an idea of breaking the wand of teleportation. I thought I was safe, teleported in a big room. I walked around in the room for quite a while, all ok; until I saw the sign telling me I was in an experimental dwarven mine field. On that moment, I knew I was dead. I tried to find the door, and as I was walking by the walls, I stepped on a big mine. Damn land mines.

This funny post was caused by a death.

I ended up with one of my really old bones files getting loaded. Not a bad haul, but that's not where the funny comes from.

The ghost was from a character I'd named rickvoid. And I got this line:

Rickvoid touches you in the groin. You are not hurt.

Very, very creepy.

Oh, don't worry. There's also "awfully touches" message possible, so you didn't get the worst fate

Not a death, but I found it funny:

I sure wouldn't want to die like this. I still wonder how I managed to get the following: I was panicked, I had no arms and one leg, and my lantern was broken, so I couldn't see.. Ow. Oh, and I was caught in spider web..

And on top of that, it was a spider that killed me...

In that case I would try sitting in the same spot and resting for as long as possible. There are usually not any monsters that spawn in the dwarf room for a while. Then once you get your health back, walk very carefully. Usually searching (press 's') about 3 or 4 times per step will detect most traps

Thanks.

Again, an awful death. I was doing great, had a genie serving me, had a good weapon. I was on GC2. I found another even better weapon, a mace named Turox. I had never seen it before, and equipped it. The first enemy after that I encountered was a spider. I bashed it, and Turox decided to show its power to me. (spoilers) It exploded like a wand of fireballs. Not just that damaging me, it broke my wand of polymorph, turning me, from all possible monsters, into a GIANT MUSHROOM. What then? I wasn't able to do anything, and I kept vomiting from some reason. I vomited until I died. The end...
