Shameful Question

Hello!

I've played IVAN for a week or two now, and I realized something...

I have no earthly clue how to set traps. Could someone please enlighten me?

Walk to the square you wish to trap, then (a)pply them. Be aware that you might accidentally trip your own trap before you can move away if your DEX/AGI is too low.

if you are burdened or stressed you are more likely to set off the trap when you set it. just drop enough gear to be unburdened, set the trap, and then pick up your gear.

Is there away to drop your stuff, set trap, but your stuff may get caught by the trap?

No, but if your stuff is on top of a trap and you try to pick up your stuff, it'll set off the trap right? I'm sure it does for mines but not sure about bear traps

I'm quite certain traps only go off when you step in a square with one.

traps and mines only go off when you are picking stuff up off of them if you accidentally pick up the trap/mine. It is perfectly safe to pick up an item off an active mine/trap.

Though, as someone discovered years ago - they are safe to kick. Unlike mines.
Well I assume that a bolt has a given, numeric, amouunt of perwer. (assi in enegri)... unless it's LAERSER SKISKLS POEWN PEWN!
