Now that we've had several dev releases, what are everybody's favorite additions/changes?

Some of mine:

- 2x graphics... so much better!
- that headless zombies are blind. So subtle but such a nice detail
- the snake's flickering tongue and rattle, and the magpie's flapping wings! Just noticed those today
- some of the new materials and color changes
- cheat look when you die

TX for me. I noticed I'm choosing it more often than GC.

There are many great things. Last version before the dev updates I played was 0.5 and I got hooked to the game again thanks to the improvements. Here are mine:

- Music & sound
- Animations (the immersive one is the best for me, looks very cool and you can engage in combat without the need to read very long sentences)
- Permanent states getting blue the moment you reach the threshold needed
- Last time prayed to each god on prayer screen (no need to write down each prayer time on a notepad anymore)
- New artifacts
- Better special items such as flaming swords or thunder hammers (I feel they got improved, not sure though)
- Unwishable artifacts (going for a Mjloak everytime I got a wish previously was sort of repetitive)
- Being able to see talents via stethoscope
- Sound for catching leprosy
- Improved shields
- Hardening materials skips some materials depending on int (kind of necessary, though, with all the materials added in some upgrade lines)
- Customizable go command, being able to skip useless items is great
- New prayer effects and more frequent gifts from gods

That's what I can think of right now, but there's probably more. There are some things I don't fully like, it wasn't asked but what the heck, here are some of them:

- Too many materials with previously associated important colors like white. It used to be that when you saw a whiteish weapon or armor on the floor you knew it was mithril (or more rarely diamond), and therefore pretty strong, at least for early-mid game. Now most of them are lead or some other trash material, so you don't get that small rush for a second anymore.
- Scars
- Mind freaking worms, although probably what most bothers me could be easily fixed by adding sound to their attacks and maybe a nifty little animation too
- Inlux wielding a valpurium two handed sword rather than her classic diamond flaming sword

Edit: spelling

Like: Everything excpet the items outlined in Dislike below

Dislike:

-Mind Worms. in their current implementation they are overpowered and appear too early/often
-The fact that there is no cure/antidote for mustard gas traps. They kill me every time, even when I Run out of the cloud.
Booooooooooo!

Haha come on guys, let’s keep this positive.

TX is awesome but I haven’t gotten past the 3rd underground level yet so I can’t fully appreciate it yet

I didn’t like the unwishable artifacts at first but yeah I always went with Mjolak too and I like being forced to try new weapons as well

I love the automatic picking up of thrown items as well. This is the first time I've ever actually collected daggers and thrown them, and they're super useful for the fast small enemies who you can't keep up with (especially magpies!)

I was planning to try a sleeping gas grenade on Enner, but forgot to "apply" it before throwing it. He was 2 steps away from me at this point so it's probably good, that explosion might have hit me too. I didn't plan to melee him but with my first hit (whip) I knocked him unconscious (must have been a good hit to the head?) and was easily able to kill him in his sleep.

Anwyays I later picked that grenade up and forgot I was carrying it (totally my fault, not blaming the auto-pickup feature). Then one booby-trapped door later, killed by vomiting myself to death after a skunk was spraying me in my sleep. Such a humiliating way to go after handling the Enner so well haha

That's such a poetic way to die.

Gotta love this game.

The auto pick up is nice, although it makes it a little more tedious to handle piles of junk (can't just throw the bits I don't want to keep aside and leave the rest in a pile)

I like the music, but I'm biased since it was done by a friend of mine.
The graphical scaling feature by AquariusPower is superb.

I feel like the fire subsystem needs more ways to put out flames, like sitting in a fountain should put all flames out.

I LOVE the auto pick up so much. Throwing daggers is so useful now. And you usually find lots of really good enchanted ones too.
