I think I may have won this run, first two items i run into? scroll of golem creation, and a broken mithril axe.

Last couple of runs i keep starving to death, I keep forgetting i can LEAVE the dungeon and buy things. Last death was inside the shop at attnam, of starvation.

Had a flaming iron sword too, and a helmet of brilliance.

Very nice. You'll go far following that golem around.

Welcome.

There's an unwritten rule that the better items you find, the more horrible things happen to you.

Now you know.

Well, value would probably not be measured in grams.

But wands are very valuable, their effects can be a life saver. Just drop whatever you won't be using right then next to stairs, so you can return for it later when needed and don't need to remeber where you left it.

He probably thought it was 'g' for 'gold'

But, wands are also very light. I doubt they would be the cause for you carrying too much weight

Wands of lightning are 2.5 kg. Although chain mail and plate armour are the prime suspects when I'm overloaded in the underwater tunnel.
