As far as I know, Loricatus can only harden the copper family of metals, up to adamant.

Something to have in mind: Loricatus can come handy even if he doesn't like you. If you are starving you can wield something heavy like a body armor and pray to him, he'll get pissed off and turn your wielded weapon into banana flesh, there you go, free food!

But he might also call up an angel that will turn you into banana flesh.

Well, it's a risk you can run if facing starvation. It never happened to me though, I think he has to be extremely pissed off to send an angel. Anyway, there's a point in which you can kill an angel easly so there's no problem.

I have definitely used that to save myself. "OH SHIT no food! Hey, here's a copper battle axe lying on the ground. Hey! Loricatus! You're a dick!" puff "MMMMmmmm...."
"Put more stuff in the... thing where... more stuff goes in."

You can do that safely for at least 3 items. I've once continuously prayed to Loricatus to turn all my junk into banana flesh and he eventually sent an angel down.

Can't recall if it was in a legitimate game or not but once I had the fantastic idea to turn a large chest into mushroom material.
Oh what fun that was...
System would indicate in graphic if person is mounted on horse or not.
Same system also show if person mounted on boar, elephant, polar bear etc.
Or if person mounted on ass.
Ivan find mounting on ass funny.

In real game I once wasted 3 SoCM to turn keys into phoenix feather, just to mark them as my keys and make them less burdening. I also often change decos shirt to Valpurium when I get another one from Bone file. Just my wierd way of wasting SoCM when I clone too much. It also helps a little in INT training.

I never have too much SoCM, but I always end up wasting them doing something stupid like turning my lamp into expensive fabric.
