Whips

Whips are one of the most peculiar weapons in IVAN.

Although you might think they should be weak, they are in fact extremely powerful due to their light weight, superb accuracy and reasonable damage output. Moreover, they never break or rust, making them the prime candidates for dipping into dangerous liquids and whip covered in sulphuric acid is one of the most fearsome weapons in the whole game.

There are two types of weapons in the Whips category, the latter one being heavier and slightly more powerful:

• A whip
• A runed whip

Several non-weapon items use the Whips skill as well, including belts and banana peels. All whips are one-handed weapons.

Magical Whips

There are no artifact whips, but the two special whips more than make up for it, being extremely powerful given their combined magical effect, damage and accuracy.

• Whip of Thievery can disarms your opponent and is always made of Nymph Hair with a sapphire handle.

• Chameleon Whip polymorphs struck opponents, making the fight either less of more dangerous but definitely more interesting and being made of Ommel Hair with a ruby handle.
