First introduced in CVS, drived undead are ghosts, skeletons and zombies whose attributes are not pre-defined but rather inherited from the monsters they were in life. Thus you will not see a generic zombie, but rather eg. "a zombie of a child tourist" with the same appearance (although greenish) and slightly lowered but similar attributes as a normal child tourist.
