Whips are rather peculiar weapons. Although you might think they should be weak, they are in fact very powerful due to their light weight, superb accuracy and reasonable damage output.
There are two weapons in the whips category, the latter one being heavier and slightly more powerful:
- Whip
- Runed Whip
Several non-weapon items also use the Whips skill, including belts and banana peels. All whips are one-handed weapons.

There are no artifact whips, but the two special whips more than make up for it, being extremely powerful given their combined magical effect, damage and accuracy.
Artifact Whips
History
- Whips used to never break or rust, making them the prime candidates for dipping into dangerous liquids. Whip covered in sulphuric acid was one of the most fearsome (and overpowered) weapons in the whole game.
