Solicitus has no functional arms or legs, making him completely immobile. His primary method of attack is biting, with his base bite strength sitting at 1000. The player cannot polymorph into Solicitus outside of wizard mode. Polymorphing into Solicitus via wizard mode will render the player character completely unresponsive and unable to polymorph into a different form, or even move.

Rings are a type of jewellery which grants you various passive magical boosts. You can wear two rings at a time, one on each of your hands (assuming you haven't lost an arm yet).

Types of Rings

Ring Name Material Effect
Acid Resistance Gold Reduces the damage taken from acidic materials, such as sulphuric acid, dark frog blood or acidous blood. Stacks with other resistance items.
Detection Grants Detecting status effect, occasionally allowing you to detect any material you want.
Electricity Resistance Ebony Reduces the damage taken from lightning (from the wand, thunder hammer and Dark Mages spells). Stacks with other resistance items.
Fire Resistance Dragon Hide Protects from explosions. Stacks with other resistance items.
Infravision Silver Grants Infravision.
Invisibility Glass Grants Invisibility.
Poison Resistance Tin Reduces the damage received while Poisoned. Stacks with other resistance items.
Polymorph Arcanite Polymorphs at random times.
Polymorph Control Sapphire Grants PolyControl.
Searching Oak Automatically searches for traps and hidden things.
Teleport Mithril Teleports at random times.
