Solicitus

Solicitus is the God of Atheism and exclusive to CLIVAN. He can be found at the Shrine of Solicitus (described as an "isolated, ruined temple" in-game) at any time after the player has left the Underwater Tunnels.
His archangel is Insudo, wielder and guardian of the blasphemous axe named Eptyron.
Solicitus is described as having once been a member of the divine pantheon but has since fallen from grace and taken up atheism. His guards imply that he is actually being imprisoned in the shrine as a political prisoner by Legifer.
Unlike every other god in the game, the player cannot pray or offer items to Solicitus. Solicitus is particularly notable for being the only god that the player can kill, resulting in Legifer intervening and raising Solicitus to purgatory in a fiery explosion. Solicitus does not drop any items or leave a corpse.
Becoming the Champion of Solicitus
Unlike other Gods, becoming the champion of Solicitus is rather straightforward:
- Solicitus will only talk to the player if he is panicked. Either come scared or drink from the fountain of liquid fear nearby (wise characters will refuse to drink from it directly - dip(!) a bottle or can in the fountain first to bypass this.)
- Now panicked, simply talk to Solicitus and accept his offer.
- Solicitus will initiate a dialogue scene in which the player is anointed champion.
Upon becoming Champion the player's sweat glands are modified to produce liquified fear, turning them into a permanent light source. The player is also presented with a free copy of The Celestial Monograph of Solicitus.

Solicitus has no functional arms or legs, making him completely immobile. His primary method of attack is biting, with his base bite strength sitting at 1000. The player cannot polymorph into Solicitus outside of wizard mode. Polymorphing into Solicitus via wizard mode will render the player character completely unresponsive and unable to polymorph into a different form, or even move.
