→‎AV Rating: the int. requirement will be made clearer on the page about enchantment.

AV stands for Armor Value, which is a number that quickly tells just how well a particular piece of armor will protect you. Higher values obviously mean better armorprotection.
There are only a few ways that AV is increased or decreased:
---You can raise the AV by hardening the item's material (if possible) and by using Scrolls of Enchant Armor until , which will enchant the item cannot be enchanted any higherselected piece of armor.
---Enemies with spellcasting abilities can disenchant your armor to lower its AV.
---If an item a piece of armor is torn or broken in combat, its the AV rating decreases significantlyand any ability enhancements will be lost until it is repaired.
Enchantment
Some items will be enchanted to magically enhance or hinder a particular character attribute. These will be clearly labeled with a statement such as "...'of dexterity". The numbering system works the same as the AV, but if the item is torn or broken, the enchantment is lost completely until it is fixed with a [scroll of repair] or at a [shop].
