Macula is an artifact, so you cannot wish for it.

Yes, the reasoning being that they can be very powerful, and the optimal tactic shouldn't be wishing for one. Players should feel lucky when they find one.

I suppose that makes sense. wish the genie had given me a do-over instead of a boiled leather cap :^(

Still, some items are more powerful than artifacts. For example, a scroll of body switch will give you a lot of stats and make stat gain extremely fast. I won 3 games by finding a genie, wishing for a scroll of body switch, transforming in a mistress and hacking through the game. It is kinda overpowered... Maybe we should make body switching a bit worse?..

EDIT: I still lost a lot of times when I was using this strategy, but it does make the game a lot easier...
