Well not really a noob i guess since i've played ivan some years ago.
Anyway, I installed IVAN on my laptop so i can enjoy some horrible, horrible death while i'm working too but i have a small issue with controlls.
I don't have a numpad and i don't really know how to change the keysettings.
Also I'm using one of those cheap ass EEEpc so how do I change the resolution? where is the config file I'm supposed to edit?

I don't know about the resolution, but you don't need a numpad. I too use a laptop and I manage the diagonals with Home, Pg Up, Pg Dn and End.

Thx for the answer but i actually don't have home/end and the pg up/pg dn are actually my arrows key.
Shitty keyboard, I know. What can I do?

You could try the 'alternative direction keys' from the option screen. No idea what that will change your keys into, but you can check that ingame with '?'.
Beware! 'tis EagleV, Hardcore Weaver of Baskets!

That might be the vi-keys (hykulnjb, from left to down-left in a clockwise fashion), which should let you play just fine.

i believe Z's 3d version of IVAN has editable keys and you can just play it in 2D mode if you dont like 3D
