I don't mind which stat requires the greater number of corpses, but Cap raises a really important point. I'm keen to roll the change back and wait till there's a consensus.

Another control factor to consider is that when we get dungeon tags for monsters, it may be that in other dungeons a blink dog would never even show up. So gaining that permanent stat might only be peculiar to GC and a few other places, but not everywhere.

Ok, I agree with that too. As a compromise, how about three floating eyes as before, but five blink dogs instead of three?

Update: Merged this subsystem into the master branch, so there will be some music in the next IVAN release.

Thanks for posting all the suggestions, I've tried to take into account as many of the ideas from here as possible. It's certainly not polished, and I feel it resembles GC a bit too much in some places. But that is what testing is for! Next three months. Then fine-tuning ready for December 2016 release.

Look out for it this weekend...

As a fix I would suggest strengths of 50 and 15.

Thank you for checking this. I did base my calculations on anecdotes and straight ratios. Is the difference because the player tends to eat integer number of corpses?

We can trial it for the next release and roll it back or tweak it at a later stage.

for blink dog flesh to give 20% effect (15 corpses). Shall we start with that, or should it be more?

for floating eye flesh.

Shall we make the change for these two? (Anyone with git can make these changes by the way...)
We can always roll it back in subsequent releases.
