Actually, it seems to work with anything at all. Here's how it changes your god relations per item:
L++ goes down 25
L+ goes down 20
L goes down 15
L- goes down 10
N+ goes down 5
N doesn't change
N- goes up 5
C+ goes up 10
C goes up 15
C- goes up 20
C-- goes up 25
L++ goes down 25
L+ goes down 20
L goes down 15
L- goes down 10
N+ goes down 5
N doesn't change
N- goes up 5
C+ goes up 10
C goes up 15
C- goes up 20
C-- goes up 25

Actually, it's the reverse, I just tested it. Putting bottles of vodka in the coffin makes you more chaotic.
