With every release we've had, the new version breaks the save & hiscore files.

I think that for the latest release, with the huge worldmap changes, that was probably necessary. But for smaller releases we should allow old save files to remain valid if possible.

I also think that if there *are* real breaking changes, then we should do a major version bump. Otherwise do a minor bump.

So for a small change:
0.50.6 -> 0.50.7

For a large change that breaks hiscore/save files:
0.50.6 -> 0.51.0

I think your pack should be fairly waterproof so it's fine if the rain doesn't get to items inside it.

I love the sound of that last idea. You'd have to make it powerful enough to survive the shopkeepers and guards as well.

So you drop your corpse, point the wand of resurrection, give it some healing liquid, equip it with its original weapons and armor, then kick it and run!

Then just picture the faces of the townspeople as you emerge from the catacombs with Golgor Dhan hot on your heels

Nice. Why does it matter that the stethoscope was in slot H instead of A?

If we add wolf packs and such then I really want more "wilderness" exploring and fighting. That would be so awesome to be in the woods with a little campfire at night and suddenly surrounded by wolves

That is probably the right way to handle this problem.

I agree.

I like that you can piss off your pet and have it cause damage. I don't think that's an exploit really
