Thanks. In my previous experience, Oree himself is pretty easy, but the mage rooms will be tough. And once I beat Oree I will want to kill Petrus, that will be hard too

just for shits and giggles

Well, that was pretty easy. 3-shotted Elpuri, then tamed the mystic & two giant dark frogs for some more sci-talking. Finished off the orc squadron and then just for the heck of it decided to clean the place up. This resulted in one square containing 13 pages of zombie heads and limbs ALONE, not to mention orc equipment, bones, and more.

Yeah, I've been spending forever on each level, staying there until the spawn rate is essentially zero. Now I'm kind of afraid I'll run into Izzy though.

Ah, I get it now. I thought there was probably a connection between it being on the same floor as the octiron trap room.

I've seen friendly dolphins at least once before. This roughly just means that I both die and drink from fountains a lot.

And I didn't ever got a stat increase from sci-talk in my life IIRC. Tried it with banana growers before, but got so bloody bored I resigned any further attempts - maybe I was just doing it wrong.

Banana growers won't help much. The best way to boost your Int & Wis at an early stage is simply, reading scrolls, books, and praying and offering. This will usually get you to about 20 for each. Only then is it worth science talking. Once you get to 20 Int/10 Wis, talk to the librarian. You'll see the boost immediately.

I think there was. But eddys can't set traps can they? I wouldn't be surprised if one just showed up, but this one was set.

Yes, obviously. I was up to about 38 in AStr and 20 in LStr and decided to just go artificial.

Edit:
Actually I remember exactly what happened now. My Int was 38 and I wanted to raise it to 40 so that I could turn my equipment into spider silk. I Socm'd all of my equipment into parchment, which was risky. It raised my Int up to 39. Now I just needed one more boost, so I decided to risk socm'ing my limbs into parchment as well. Luckily that brought me to 40 so that I could then harden everything to spider silk.

[EDIT EDIT] Well that's strange, it works as a clickable URL now. Uh, thanks capristo!

I didn't do nothing. The reason it wasn't working was you had an apostrophe in the URL.
