Levers of Lava Revealing, hells yes.

Though that'd make belts of levitation horribly overpowered.

There hasn't been any proper (publicized) code-diving on the matter as far as I can tell. From a subjective point of view based on experience alone, the int gain from individual scrolls typically depends on the character's aptitude for int gains in general and the value of the given scroll or book. Getting a stat point from reading a SoW or SoCM is much more likely compared to SoDM or even SoEA/W. There may be some sort of diminishing return on stat gain from reading in general as your int goes up, but don't take my word on that.

I may of course be completely wrong and everything readable/usable has a distinct value for stat gains in general.

There was a book of the pantheon or something akin those lines in one of the mods that gave a large boost to both wisdom and int, anyone recall how that boost worked?

The danger level increase for lightning hammers is completely negligible compared to their effectiveness. Having the lightning bounce in your face is either a matter of resistances or just making sure you're not in the way of the bolt when fighting. I do agree with Turox being rather risky though, you can't reliably have any teleportation sources outside a box when wielding it.

Turox also exists, as do lightning hammers. Small swords have only Saal'Thul, which is one of the worst artifacts in the game.

Mace weapon skill is generally more relevant than short swords, so ditch the sword. Especially so if you're going fully chaotic.

If you haven't tried the wand yet, test it on enchantment scrolls or something else you could use more of. Maximizing the charging potential is crucial to a successful run.

Rather spoilery info for general discussion:

How many charges does the wand of cloning have? If it's anything less than three, get that. Alternatively just hold onto the scroll until you start enchanting or reach GC8/9 and see if you still can't find a cloak of fire/elec resistance, you're going to absolutely need one of them for the mage room in GC10-12. Of course if you're fine with just taking down Elpuri and going for the freedom win, a resistance cloak isn't a necessity.

As for the flaming sword, absolutely switch to that if you can both harden and enchant it.

Children no longer spoil

Anyways, to really get the dev going again, we'd really need active and commited coders (or at least one). You can only get so far with just ideas and scripting. Personally I don't have the time/will to put in the effort to properly learn C for any larger additions/modifications especially if the source is as impenetrably jumbled as it sounded like.

The GC5 loading screen graphic was probably the only one, AFAIK. Could be wrong, considering how long it's been since I last played that version.

@cap (maybe a slight spoiler?)

Did you make sure you can actually see her? She's normally got an INVISIBLE tag in the ClassStates.

Here's my entry:

She's standing on a tiny gravel island in the middle of a vodka puddle. Next to the puddle is a pile of 100 wands of fireballs. Didn't make any character, item or material edits.

EDIT: Underestimated the damage fireballs actually do to her, the wands are now striking which worked much better. Disappointingly the vodka puddle didn't explode. Also it would seem that the priestess of Silva can actually swim.

I ran a few tests through wizard mode, seems that there's actually no randomness involved to regenerating multiple limbs with healing liquid. Rather, it's based on the healing value: excess healing power goes into regenerating another limb after some certain threshold. Since troll blood has a lower healing value, you're much less likely to reach the threshold with it. Troll blood does regen two limbs as well when your endurance is low enough, i.e. when the max limb HP is very low.

When playing normally the second regenerated limb usually appears with minimal HP. When endurance falls enough, it will start appearing fully healed. The limit for regenning two fully healed arms with a healing potion is 7 END. Interestingly, since legs have more HP than arms, regenning an arm and a leg at 7 END only nets you a healthy arm and a gray leg. Same goes for two legs, one of them will pop up gray. Furthermore, seems that arms will always be preferred for the full health regen over legs.
