Where's Alvers when you need him?

On topic, no I don't think I've ever raised my legs naturally past 20. 18 is my record for LSTR, and that was likely down to my character being naturally blessed with LSTR, just as a few characters get naturally good at other stats. Try the boots of kicking and start kicking more things. Boots of LSTR help obviously, but in my opinion it's a better idea to invest in the boots of agility.
Of course, I almost always look to SoCM my limbs as soon as possible, starting with legs for AGI and LSTR so I can actually dodge things and carry as much as I want.

Argh, Mystic Dark Frogs are the most horrible things ever. Not only will they zap you, they can also teleport away all your equipment and not even a ring of teleport control can stop that. Nothing has frustrated me more than mystic dark frogs except maybe Ischaldirh (in game, not you ex-Atomic ).

If you got hit on GC1 it probably followed you up the stairs. The best way of dealing with them in my experience is to use ESP or Infravision + scroll of detect material to find where they are, teleport your way over if you can or wand of haste + run to where they are and either butcher them with melee or spam wands of striking or fireballs until they're dead. Then you can worry about finding your teleported and disenchanted equipment.

You could also take the Mount & Blade approach and make it so that the less "rigid" the armor is the more it protects against blunt attacks. Of course one would naturally think that'd mean cloth armor would be best against blunt, but that'd be too unbalanced when you go up against something with an adamantine warhammer with, say, ommel hair armor...

I suppose you could make it so blunt type weapons are more proficient at breaking rigid (i.e low flexibility value) armors due to, well, them being blunt weapons made for doing that after all.

Hmm, whilst I've never experienced a loss of endurance, arm and leg strength can be reduced through lack of practice with those limbs. It could be that wandering about the map for so long resulted in you losing your levels. Hunger and vomiting also abuses those stats, and it's possible that it reduced their values by just enough to not have resulted in a level drop but enough to result in a drop on your trip back to Attnam.

Haven't picked it back up yet, but he's at least survived that malicious Wise Farmer so far...

So it's been a very long time since you released this, but I recently started playing it again and finally raised a decent character for exploring. I took the mango sapling to the banana dropoff area, but regardless of whether I pressed Y or N, my character somehow decided against planting the thing. This may or may not be because I accidentally angered the villagers by fireballing Decos whilst those female slaves were nearby.

Also did the Ommel Blood quest, revealed the Tomb of Xinroch which was, just like you said, incomplete. Tried talking to those UTFA dudes after rescuing the prisoners, but they didn't have anything else to say.

So, is the planting of the mango sapling dependant on not angering the New Attnamese? At this rate I'll have to drag my guy down to Elpuri, which is none too heartening.

iirc you can effectively keep enchanting items for a long time, because all that happens when you enchant is that the chance of the next enchant level failing increases. Might also be based on INT.

I don't suppose you could also SoCM a large chest into schoolfood and treat yourself to a vomit fest?

And for what gold and silver stones? What I can do with them?

Well, yes you could sell them but here are some other uses (some more questionable than others):

1) Use them with a Scroll of Golem Creation to make a decent companion.
2) Throw them at fleeing magpies.
3) Throw them at just about anything before it gets to you.
4) Remotely break open doors.
5) Stack them up in piles of 5 in a 5 tile line and zap with a wand of polymorph.
6) Harden them to a better material and then sell them/make a better golem.
7) Use them to keep magpies away (they'll steal them and flee).
