Well I haven;t played in months now but I always played 0.50 the last official release. I think some of the mods are unbalanced.

I remember playing a Ivan ver where it just was caves and dungeons and every few levels there were shops and places to rest, can you remember something like that?

It was probably IVAN and you just forgot that you get dying over and over again and restarting

IIRC, LIVAN has a few levels in the GC which are safe havens, such as the dwarf city.
I usually play 0.50 but it's fun to try out the variants every once in a while. LIVAN and IVANT are both enjoyable and not too unbalanced although all the extra levels makes it a lot easier to get perfect equipment.

well im gona stick with IvanX, seems to be good in its own ways...

i started to find what i was talking about and it was IVANT, not sure well on level three theres a safe haven then theres level four with the plants.
