Important.... anybody interested in taking over the site? I don't have time to work on this and the domain expires in November. Also, I'm not as active, esp in the General area, and don't know you guys as well as others. If nobody steps up to it then don't worry, I will make sure it stays running, but if anybody is interested in taking over, that would be great! Prefer a respected member of course, and I would like to remain a moderator under the new administration. Anybody? Possibly, we could get a list of who's interested and then create a poll.

Should be someone who knows what they're doing, in case something comes up and some fiddling is required.

I understand why you'd want someone to take over, and I thank you for the great job you've done.

I guess I can volunteer for this.

Tomorrow I will say I'm not doing it, but don't believe me. Not drunk, a fever.

EDIT: Wait, you paid for this right? I assume it's not grand, but I'd still like to know in advance.

EDIT2: I told you...

We'd have to figure out how exactly to transfer everything. My actual hosting doesn't expire until march, just the domain expires in November. Domain itself is only about $8, hosting is about $100 per year. But since I'm going to keep my host for my other websites, I'll be paying for that anyway so I could still host it, somebody else would just have to manage the files and admin the forum.

I can do the 8$ and admin things. If someone disapproves, now is the time to tell. And if we lose that host, we'll have to come up with something.

Ok cool. Looks like Erno it is. I'll try to figure out exactly how to do this this weekend when I'm not busy with work.

So, Capristo, how do we sort this out? Where do you live, in the states of course? It'd be best if we could meet in IRC or something.

right.. I've been gone a while, sorry. Yes I'm in the states, Indiana to be exact. The domain expires exactly a month from today (Nov 27th). It is $21.76 to renew the domain for 2 years. I'm not sure what's the best way to do this. Short of giving you my goddady account and password, I don't think it's possible to transfer the domain to somebody else. It might just be easiest if you paypaled me the amount and then I processed it.

As for the actual running of the website, you should have administrator status now. Check to make sure you can login to the admin panel (link will appear at the bottom of every page), and just try things out. Let me know to make sure it works.

And last but not least for editing and uploading files, adding mods, etc. I should be able to give you a password that will allow you to log in through ftp, I'll let you know when I get that set up, hopefully by this weekend. (I am really busy so sorry if I get held up).

You can always email me at webbypssht at gmail dot com. If I disappear like this again or just forget to change something. That's also my paypal email if you decide to do that.

Ernomouse has gained a level!

I got in, didn't make any changes yet. As for paypal, I will make an account now, if I just can figure out how...

EDIT: Right, I've got a paypal account now. Remind me if you don't receive money within the week. Also, if there are others who want to participate paying our awesome forum let me know.
