Upload and share your Bones files here. Just create a ZIP and then attach it through the forum ( no external links please )

How should we organize this? One topic per person? Per level?

I think people should just zip up their entire bones files. then you can swap it out for yours, just to see what kind of nonsense other players are getting into.

Im pretty sure I have a bones of Gugamesh on UT2 in mine standing next to a +8(IIRC) Mojo. Good luck to whatever unluckey adventurers finds that (assuming Guggy will swap his weapons out for the Mjol

Per level is probably better for organising.

How does one figure out which level a particular bones file is for? I'd submit my bones but I'd like to know this first.

Ya, I found that out last night when I looked at my bones files to submit. We're going to have to do it per person

I suggest that, when you make your thread in this section, you describe your usual playing style, so people downloading your bones have some idea what to expect.

Errm.... what do you do if your playing style has changed somewhat over the course of your games and you're not sure which stages are going to be best represented by the bones?

I do sort of remember what my styles have been like, though, so I'll do my best.

Go ahead Muffenz. I decided to change "Bones" to "Community Gaming" to include bone files, communal games, tournaments, and anything else related. Therefore it is now its own forum instead of just a subforum. Also, "Troubleshooting & Bugs" moved to the Coding category

I kinda wish I knew EXACTLY how to use a bones file.
Is it like... A save file kinda? I guess that would make sense if at one time I didn't have multiple bones. Not exactly sure, for I am a nub. D=

I don't know if this is right, but bone files are just files of your character's bones, you don't use them, every time you go to that level, the game automatically uses the bones.

To use the files, in your IVAN game directory there will be a folder called "bones", you can zip them and give them out or you can download bone files from people and then put them in your folder.

Not sure if that made sense...

So, the BONES file itself is more of the entire save, since you can't save more than once?

If not, how do you transfer saves? What file?

Bones files are saves of dead characters. The entire level is saved, along with your corpse and items, and then randomly inserted into another, later game, when you reach that level.
