First and last character for 0.59.

Fairly standard run with a twist. I used every exploit I knew and found some new ones. Turns out that if you dig out the walls of the temple of silva and use a wand of alchemy on the resulting lumps of gold, you get around 100 K to be spent at the black market for literally everything you might ever want with no repercussions, because Kaethos remains neutral while you slaughter his home village. Cloning Neutronium sol stones was a nice touch that let me have around <-1 Ton> of free unweight. Finding both the stones and the cloning and mirroring the sagas to be able to get my int high enough was a non-issue with the black market. That thing is so damn exploitable.

There were a lot of "chardup" bugs that I didn't know how to deal until I read another poster's troubles with it. Basically some items would end up being counted twice when picking them up and crash my game. Until this is fixed, I recommend dropping items by category on the ground and waiting until you don't crash, reloading the autosave each time, and when you find the offending item just drop it in the overmap. That fixes it. Most of the time it was junk like broken bottles or vials. Yeesh.

Game-wise I tried to do the aslona quests for the new content, and I got all the quests done, but the kid got jumped on by a dark frog that had blindsided me and the thing ate his head before I could get to it, so the quest was forever off-limits for me. Carrying the corpse of the kid and seeing "the headless corpse twitch" was a facepalm for me. Even tried putting some other human heads on him since I couldn't find it anywhere (either the frog or someone else had gotten to it by the time I realized the corpse was headless) but at the end I couldn't rez him and I ruined my chances by trying to zombify him. A shame.

Since I was decked out to hell and back I just went the regular oree route after using my old mustard gas trick on petrus to get justifier and skip the fight. Got scared I couldn't make it because I had already become Mortifer's champion, but thankfully I managed to get around that because you don't actually need to pray to Valpurus, just give him some junk at the altar.

Buggy as hell, but fun as always. I did enjoy "bending the game over a fence and having my way with it" as someone artfully put it.

There we go. That's 3 posts since 2016 now.

Edit: I just noticed all my witty filenames got Baleeted when posting, so for your viewing pleasure, here they are again.

I don't follow what Kaethos has to do with getting 100k gold but yeah:

SPOILER ALERT. Click here to see text.
he, along with the banana growers and palm leaf girls, are all slaves, so they don't care if you slaughter the Imperialist and his employees

I still like the black market concept but not shocked at all that it can be exploited

I get that, but the thing is I killed all of new attnam, ostrichs included. That's because when I killed decos I wanted to pick up his chain mail, but it was on temple grounds (pic #6)
So by picking up the chain mail I angered ALL of new attnam, palm girls and banana growers included, and did a spot of genocide. Kaethos, and this is why I was surprised, remained neutral to me while I was murdering his friends and gave me his quest to free new attnam hence pic #7 being funny.
Once I wiped out new attnam, I decided to harvest the gold walls of the temple into gold lumps and turn them into gold coins with a wand of alchemy (could have sold them at the market, but this was much quicker).

Ahh gotcha. I don’t think that was an official “quest” before so must’ve been something messed up there

That's a pretty nice way of breaking the game!

Kaethos is in his own "tourist guide" team and it's probably not properly linked to NA team hostility. I should be making notes.

How did you get to the GC after doing the Aslona questline? These should be mutually exclusive. Is there another bug?

Shame about the prince, you're supposed to resurrect him if he dies, but I didn't account for him losing his head... I will try to think of a way to fix that.

You can still do two Aslona victories, even if you don't finish all three quests:

SPOILER ALERT. Click here to see text.
You can bring both artifact swords from Lord Regent and Harvan Black-cloak to Petrus, or you can wield both swords, get some blue-blood and be crowned the king of Aslona.

I don't want to get rid of the black market, but it sure needs to be rebalanced.

Any thoughts on the Aslona dungeons? Anything that stood out as too hard/easy/weird/broken?

You uh
just start with it in the main map already enabled nowadays, I thought that was a new feature?

I'm guessing it's a bug though. Shame, I liked having a lot of stuff to explore while still being able to back up to the original one.

I thought the new dungeons were fine, but I can hardly judge because I mostly decided to do them when I was full dieselmode both weapon and armor-wise. I don't remember having any trouble with those particularly, actually I treated them as free loot for the most part. Almost died to a little squirmy friend tapping my ESP in the pyramid's vault because I thought it was a mage trying to knock me unconscious.

Ah I see, I had been using 0.58 and therefore could not see [pic below], which is only in 0.59. It's a simple fix though, just going into owterra and setting RevealEnvironmentInitially=true to false or HideLocationInitially=false to true. Must be debugging stuff ig.

Thank you though kind sir, you have delivered an infinitely great boon to me, while the alchemy stuff is useless for me now I can get the nice shirt while farming infinite points. Perhaps the score multiplier adds up too...
