I hate that feeling when you have a promising character get killed, but love when you close out and realize the bones file got updated!

That's just the pits. I don't know how many times that's happened to me.
I find levels where bonefiles won't generate to be the worst thing... after undocumented features that cause crashes of course!

I always carry all of my scrolls and potions around with me in a chest for this reason. i dont find it worth the time running around with stashes on other levels.

Yeah I have learned that the hard way as well. I try to carry a small chest with all the valuables, and just transport it whenever I go between levels. Especially when I'm visiting a level for the first time. But I inevitably get lazy and stop bringing it with me, especially for quick trips to the world map. Then Sherry spawns on GC1 and I get screwed

I realized that i have never won the game without a juicy bones find, so I am paranoid about moving off a level without my stash.

I searched the forum and it doesn't seem like there's an insane bones find thread. What's your juiciest bones find so far?

I would have to look back, I think the bones I found during my high priest victory was the best. I just left one on UT4 that had a scroll of wishing and 2 charging in the chest, 2 wands of poly and 3 potentially magic lamps, which would be the best if I ever find it again.

We don't have one for bones, but we do have a general crazy finds thread.

I remember that thread from when I was still lurking. I'll be sure to be on the lookout for some crazy loot so I can post it up.
