Ok i have the best char ever going right now. I ogt inside a tine room surruounded by meteoric steel and got the AoLS and the WoRessurection (how does the wand work?) I have the following notable equipment

leatyher cloak of Fire resist +5
meteoric steel bastard sword +4
steel chain shirt
arcanite helm
amulet of esp

i am on gc3 and i found a shop, it has a flaming mithril sword in theshop, is this an upgrade over the bastard sword?

Also i found a undiggable room filled with a werewolf and a lot of wolves, is tis a special feature?

next, i tried to kill sumo with the beartrap landmine combo, but accidently made the town angry in the process, so i managed to get out before dying. 1) does this have a negative effect on my game, and 2) how strong should i be before i go back and waste everyone in town?

finally i found an oil lamp, last time i rubbed one a genie killed me. 1) should I try for the wish or is the risk too great 2) if i get a wish what should I wish for?

I'm not sure whether or not the flaming mithril sword is better.
The room occurs in every game,'tis very annoying.
1)The only negative effect is that you can't go back into New Attnam unless you are strong enough to kill them.
2)Pretty damn strong.Richel Deco will pwn you if you're careless.

1)I personally would,but it's up to you.
2)I always wish for artifacts such as Saal'Thul or Vermis. Some may not be wishable, but I'm not sure.

Now keep in mind that I'm not exactly a pro at this game and the farthest I've ever gotten is GC 6.

Weps : FMS is 3-7 and highly accurate. Your MSBS+4 is 7-13 and highly accurate. At +4 the flaming mithril sword would be 6-12 and extremely accurate... A +4 MITHRIL bastard sword is, on the other hand, still 7-13 and highly accurate. Can't really say, it's late already (as in 4 scrolls already spent in the sword) but it would pay long-term to have the mithril sword (on +4 and further)... It's Your choice.

The lamp : I'd go for it. If You're scared (which is alright beacuse of the danger), just have a wand of teleportation ready to zap at the genie.

Good things to wish for : amulet of life saving, artifacts (Vermis, Saal'Thul, Mjolak, Turox, thunder hammers are also OK), wand of cloning - to clone ommelines and scrolls, holy banana, belt of levitation.

The werewolf : He is a guaranteed opponent, there's always a room where he spawns, with a lot of wolves. He has a scrolls of enchant weapon and enchant armor (1 of each).

New Attnam : If anyone sees You planting a beartrap or mine - it's frowned upon. Decos has dual +3 runed ommel hair whips, and a mithril chainmail +1 worth noting. The guards are trained and strong, but not tough... If I'd be going for the town, I'd bring in wands (especially fireball) beacuse they don't zap anything at us, and the people are poorly armored.

Generally speaking, post a screenshot of Your eq, so we can also see stats. Then we can judge the char.

Buy the mithril sword, but don't use it until you get enough scrolls to enchant up at least +4. Until then, just keep using the one you have now.

I don't think planting mines or traps in New Attnam is illegal. It's only illegal if you place it inside one of the buildings.

when you are too weak to kill genies rub lamps in attnam when standing between two shop guards or next to the patrol guard. they will kill the genie if he tries to kill you.

Offer as much as you can to a god that favors you. There's a small chance he/she'll spawn an angel and you can take away its weapon and/or shield and force it to keep current equipment. Very good for taking on genies or just about anything else besides enner - you can also give him two daggers and watch him mow through whatever comes his way, though I prefer unarmed as it results in far more dismemberments and frequent headshots.

Unfortunately the gear you take from the angels will vanish after a time. I used to know exactly what caused it, but I assume that it happens from leaving her on a level by herself for too long. On the other hand you can always sell her gear for tons of money and buy other gear (or scrolls) for yourself.

you sure about that atomic? I thought they disappeared because they were mirrored items. So you couldn't sell them either

I've sold them. The angel hair armor is worth more than 1k gold.

IIRC angels summoned by sacrificing are permanent, and angels summoned by praying are temporary. And so is their stuff.

This is fact. Also keep in mind that if a God sends his/her archangel it is temporary. Also do not forget that each angel carries a book of their god, so make sure and steal that.
