There is nothing like clearing Attnam (alongside an army of mirrored duplicates, decked out in phoenix feather and ruby, with four phoenix feather limbs and a Justifier each...) only to realize your precious adamantine lockbox, stuffed full of explosive wands and, oh yeah, the friggin' Shirt of the Golden Eagle, has gone missing somewhere beneath Mondredr (LIVAN town).

Ugh. At least Attnam will still be just as bloodsoaked when I get back.

Right, well, I'm back in Attnam with the Shirt on, but I didn't know you ALSO need to be holding the dead guy's left nut. I'm sure it's somewhere in this city... *grumble grumble*

Nice. How'd you get Justifier before clearing Attnam?

Finally! I guess the glowing red light emanating from it should've tipped me off, but hoorah! First time beating the game (hell, first time getting past GC 7 without Sherarax killing me), hell of a rush.

There's a trick in LIVAN/CVS(?) where you can throw a mustard grenade at an ally standing next to Petrus so that he'll die from the acid cloud. Afterwards, you can grab all his stuff and (maybe) teleport away just as Inlux shows up.

Gratz. You must've been playing some time already, judging from stints at being killed by Sherry. Did You lurk the forums a lot before finally achieving this (just curious)?

Please do note playing LIVAN when at the honor rolls so it's neat
Well I assume that a bolt has a given, numeric, amouunt of perwer. (assi in enegri)... unless it's LAERSER SKISKLS POEWN PEWN!

I'm somewhat impressed that your first victory is a high priest victory.

Quite! I'd been reading up first on what to do with wishes, then how to beat such-and-such, as I'm pretty sure I managed to die at least once to every major threat. Did every trick I found short of eating an ommel cerumen chest. On this runthrough, though, I managed to get impossibly lucky and beheaded Sherarax on the second or third hit (got a free AoLS out of it!).

I'm not sure why, but I never managed to reach GC 7 without being either too weak to even beat The Wise Farmer, or so strong that Sherarax was waiting for me there. And since I beat Sherarax on this playthough, there wasn't anything stopping me from going all the way.

Well it is LIVAN, but beating sherarax is still impresive.

Good job!

Hmm... I don't remember the Wise Farmer in LIVAN. Where is he?

Hey hey hey! Wait a moment, didn't someone do a test and find Petrus's Endurance was so high it restored the health loss from Mustard Gas? (Unless that was some speculation I recall from somewhere without actual testing?)
Or maybe I'm completely wrong.

The only other way I can think of getting the Justifier pre-victory would be to cut his arm off and have it land in a convenient space.

Anyway, congratulations on your victory!

GC 7 or 8 iirc.
He's the thing I most despise in LIVAN next to mystic dark frogs.
System would indicate in graphic if person is mounted on horse or not.
Same system also show if person mounted on boar, elephant, polar bear etc.
Or if person mounted on ass.
Ivan find mounting on ass funny.

How did I do it?

SPOILER ALERT. Click here to see text.
Teleported Jenny, tried not to kill anything, picked up an oil lamp and some gas grenades on the way. Hoped to get a hostile genie when I was in the centre chamber of Attnam (and did), got lucky when throwing gas grenades at it while Petrus was near and waited for the inevitable.

Note: I didn't actually do what was in the spoiler - although it's entirely possible. All I did was a little script editing to put a wall behind Petrus and put some gas grenades and a belt of levitation in New Attnam. Then I floated on over and spammed gas grenades till Petrus died.

That was me. I discovered that:
- if Petrus simply walks through mustard gas then his health restores too quickly
- if the grenade actually explodes on him/on the space next to him, then it will kill him.
