Some times, Loricatus will deem you his "Valiant Knight".  Usually you get a message saying that "Your hands feel tingly for a moment.", or something along the lines of it. I'm not too sure what this does, but I think it increases your skill with the current weapon by X amount of experience.

If you get a message that "Your hands feel tingly", that means Loricatus tried to harden your weapon but was unable to. Your weapon's material may not be able to harden. In this case, you may want to temporarily "wield" your gauntlets or some other item that needs hardening.

Loricatus is the god of fire, machines, and weaponry. His alignment is N= (neutral).

Praying

Praying to Loricatus will have various results.

If he is pleased, and you are missing a limb, then he will summon a new limb for you made out of one of his aligned materials.

If you are not missing a limb, then he will do one of the following:

  • harden your weapon
  • give you a scroll of repair
  • fix any broken item that you have equipped

He may also summon an angel or his archangel Ignigena to assist you.

If you get a message that "Your hands feel tingly", that means Loricatus tried to harden your weapon but was unable to. Your weapon's material may not be able to harden. In this case, you may want to temporarily "wield" your gauntlets or some other item that needs hardening.

If he is angry with you, then he will turn your weapon into banana flesh.
