Higher Perception allows you to see longer distances and influences to-hit values.
Uses
- Increases your view radius
- Increases your chance to find traps when searching
- Slightly Increases your to-hit value, allowing you to more easily hit enemies in combat at any range
Items
Wearing a helmet of piercing perception will increase perception, with each +1 bonus in AV also resulting in a +1 bonus to perception
Training
The following actions will train your perception:
- Consuming ommel tears (+500xp * amount)
- Consuming ommel bone (+500xp * amount)
- Drinking Pepsi (+amount consumed)
- Eating a carrot (+amount consumed)
- Zapping a wand or holy banana (+150xp)
- Missing an attack (+75xp)
- Throwing an item (+75xp)
- Eating the holy banana of oily orpiv (+1xp * amount * 13)
The following actions will abuse your perception:
- Nothing short of losing your head or polymorphing can affect your perception adversely.
