William Karlson specialized in computer and scanner technology when he went to school, but when his system was threatened by an imminant attack from another faction, he was one of many who signed up to help protect the planet. He continued in his military career, seeing it as a prime opprotunity to examine, test, and use (and even invent) advanced computer technology. Aboard the Chimera he primarily fills in for the communications station, though he has also proven adept at the tactical station and has been noted by superiors for good sense and some leadership ability. Unfortunately he barely passed the required personal combat courses, and has fallen out of practice recently.

Skills: Computer use, scanner use, system hacking, electronics repair, minor tactical, minor command, basic pistol proficency, basic rifle proficiency. Abnormally poor at melee combat.
