The same evil developer who created the evil room has also hard coded in 2 things of note in the Fungal Caves. One, a [[spider|giant golden spider]], will always appear on one of the top 3 levels and may useful for farming money. The other is a free scroll randomly put in a non-special room on the bottom 4 levels... with a large mine underneath it.
