Muramasa is an ancient sword named after its legendary creator, [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muramasa Muramasa Sengo]. Muramasa was a exceptional swordsmith whose blades were known for their extraordinary sharpness. Unfortunately he also had a propensity for violence and was widely considered mad - a quality said to have seeped into his blades.
Legend tells of a competition between Muramasa and his master, [[Masamune]] to see who could produce the finest sword.
