Rewritten for better structure
State during "You are horrified by your situation!"<br>"You panic!" Panicked is a state which is exactly what it says on the tin - your character has seen something awful, or has had something so horrible happen that their natural survival instincts have kicked in and they are unable to do anything but run away at top speed. When you are panicked you are forced into "running, can't " stance and cannot rest, and or attack until you have calmed down. You can't attack unless however fight back if you are corneredand unable to move in any possible direction other than one occupied by a monster. This state <br>Panic can be cured naturally simply by waiting for a bitit to wear off, or by more artificial means such as consuming alcohol. There is one artificial cure: applying or applying a Horn of Bravery. Be warned that the horn takes time It is strongly recommended to cure panic as fast as possible since being forced to run at all times means you are very likely to run yourself to 'recharge' exhaustion and pass out, allowing any passing enemy to beat you to death for free. Almost every intelligent being in the game can be panicked by the same means - like the horn namely taking a large amount of fear - should only be used damage in a short period of time , seeing an extremely powerful opponent, or falling to low HP. There are very few exceptions to this rule.<br>Panic can also be inflicted by applying a Horn of great needFear.
You, allies, or enemies will become panicked after sustaining a great amount of damage in a short period of time, or upon seeing an adversary with drastically higher stats. You'll get the message "You are horrified by your situation!" if you're on the receiving end of the last one.
