James R. Denune

James R. Denune, 27 years of age, was always detested by his classmates. His expertise in learning always allowed him to destroy his academic competition without much effort.

James was always considered a bit of a nerd during his time at the Academy, but that didn't stop him from signing into the space aeronotics and repairs section of the military. Due to his steadfast dedication to his work, he quickly rose to the top of his class. His side interest, history, led him to pursue a minor degree in Technological History, or the study of previous technological eras and their uses, such as the Industrial and Informational ages. He's also been an avid member of his colony's boxing team since the age of 13 (he was the youngest combatant to ever enter the ring). He might not look like it, but he can definitely hold his own. His fighting training and constant use of his hands in his profession make him a steadfast fighter. Unfortunately, he's had a strong fear of projectile based weaponry since an unfortunate accident when he was 11. His house was ransacked by local space pirates and they shot his brother dead.

Skilled in repairing anything with an electrical current, Denune is an invaluable asset on the adventures the crew will undergo.

Skills: Can repair just about anything, given the correct resources and time. Quick learner. James once said "Give me a day and I'll engineer the flag ship single handed." Excellent at hand to hand combat. Much more proficient with a knife than a gun. Weaknesses: afraid of guns. sometimes too analitical. Can't make spur of the moment decisions.
