Sorry but it's true....

Valpurium golems spawn like crazy if you have mad skillz like me. Seriously though they spawn often in my games - they are ordinary monsters.

I think you can get it from eating the magic shrooms but you can definitely get it from the magic vapours.

I am a mycophage (look it up). The giant mushrooms are safe to eat in that they will not cause you to polymorph unlike the magic mushrooms. I did get perma confused once by eating to many giant shrooms.

Well I'm playing another game and I seem to have acquired permahaste again, without trying. I forgot that i drink from fountains quite a bit, plus i eat any magic mushrooms I find. I probably had 20-30 fountain drinks and ate less than 10 magic mushrooms, and I prayed to Cleptia a few times. Didn;t zap myself with a wand once.

The more you use them the more scabies likes you AFAIK. Same with Whips of Thievery and Cleptia.

What a waste! throw the chest at a wall or pray to silva or kick it. Stand over it and fight a golem with no arms while dual wielding shields waiting for the golem to kick open the chest. lots of options.

or two scroll of teleport and a ring of telecontrol/blink dog/vermis. tele in grab chest teleout.

The last time i perma hasted myself i had haste from cleptia and then unloaded 4-5 wands on me. seemed to work fine. cleptia's hast usually lasts more than a full prayer cycle. The second time I pray she gives me invisibility.
