That's interesting. It makes sense that they are "mirrors" since you and the sumo both survive even if you are "killed"

So far we've raised about $125, which is 12 years! I didn't want to post the amount because then people could figure out how much somebody else donated, but we have enough contributors now that that isn't an issue.
It does seem silly to pay that far in advance. Thanks for the thought Erno; I will renew for 6 years and put the rest towards the actual web hosting then.

GoDaddy starts nagging you that your domain is "about to expire" about 6 months before it actually does. It gets pretty annoying. We've already raised a bit, and if I have a job by then I'll gladly contribute some more as well (I already said I'd pay for at least one year)
