You do not need to be a champion to get Atavus' reward. You only need to be (IIRC) halfway there. Basically, just keep praying to him (at regular intervals, of course; don't piss him off) and sooner or later he'll drop an arcanite plate at your feet.

You can become champion of any god. Most of them don't do anything special if you're at Champion, except perhaps send you an archangel, but Mortifer will give you Neerc se'Ulb if you're his champion, which is an awesome weapon, and Valpurus will give you either a valpurium two-handed sword or a valpurium shield. Again, only if you are his champion. Both gods get upset if you pray to them and you aren't their champion, so you can't use prayers to gain favor.

Armor of Great Health is the main thing to Stay Away from. Most other gear is more beneficial than harmful.

I voted other. You didn't include Magical Mushrooms.

You can also SoCM them into, say, beef, and then eat them. (The chests that is. Not so effective for mine disabling.)

First off, I'm going to say I partially agree with Ksempac's position. Not 100%, but enough.

I would not consider the above post to be spam. It can (though it probably won't) produce some interesting conversation. (More likely it'll just produce some laughs and cheap jokes, and maybe some misunderstanding, knowing this community) On the other hand:

I think I've made myself as clear as I can. My point is, FMW, quit telling others to chill out and chill out yourself. Spam really isn't a big deal, but I don't mind keeping some separation between more and less retarded topics.

I dunno though. I don't see many forums with dedicated "this is stupid" forums, though I've seen a few with a "trash" section where topics that are or become ridiculously fucktarded get moved.
