Don't carry too much stuff. Try to avoid stressed. In fact try to avoid burdened. I recommend making a stockpile right at the stairs to the previous level of just all the crap you aren't actually using. Protect it with beartraps if you can. It's safer in fact to leave them on the previous level, however if you do that all the items are lost when you die (rather than potentially being stored for a bones file later on). Also, make sure to use the 'l'ook command on the world map before trying to travel from the UT to Attnam.

And finally... uh, good luck!

Bleeding doesn't cause damage (it's a result of damage). More likely, the spider bite poisoned you. However the bite itself must have dealt a pretty good amount of damage for the poison to have killed you... even snakebites are rarely fatal for anything but a very early character.

Somehow that feels like an exploit... Is it?

Note the note at the start however. Vapurium may still be non-golemable.

You can't? Are you sure? Some materials simply can't be golem'd because golems for that material don't exist.

I just tested it. This is completely false. It's not that it's a lump, it's that it's a material you can't golem-ify.

For reference here's a list of golem-able materials:

Valpurium, Spider Silk, acidous blood (these three may need testing, they have their own configs in the Char.dat file), glass, parchment, cloth, mithril, marble, gold, leather, leaf, expensive fabric, palm leaf, sulfur, diamond, silver, sapphire, ruby, bronze, copper, tin, ommel hair, hardened leather, nymph hair, phoenix feather, ice, dragon hide, arcanite, illithium, balsa, pine, fir, birch, oak, teak, ebony, octiron, light crystal, sandstone, limestone, calcite, obsidian, gneiss, slate, granite, basalt, milky quartz, flint, quartzite, amethyst, citrine, roze quartz, jasper, rock crystal, banana peel, plant fiber, bone, ommel bone, ommel tooth, pork, beef, human flesh, iron, steel, meteoric steel, adamant.

That could have been condensed probably, but I'm too lazy to actually do it.

Seriously? Huh. I could have sworn GC only went to lv 9 in 050. Maybe I'm just retarded is all.

But yeah... I've never seen a room full of golems. Or orcs, for that matter. The wolf one is obvious, it's always there as far as I can tell, but the only other themed monster room I can recall seeing is the frog room before the last down stairs.

Didn't answer my question, though from the fact that it refers to high-number GC depths I'll assume that it is LIVAN you're talking about.

There's a golem level? Is this LIVAN you're talking about?
