Maybe hard-code it? It would be slick if adding a new damagetype, say GRIEF would have a typical bonus equal to numberoffrags/10.

Also, fuck yeah Tonberry

Also2, the IVAN devs surely wouldn't be so merciful to give us just that lousy 10% of damage

Army of Darkness! Fuck yeah ! slob++

I'd say raising charisma up to 15 is valuable, but that's because it helps improve Int and Wis with Richel Decos .

Charming monsters? Well relations with Dulcis affect it, I never actually thought charisma does. But! Can be!

I agree that talking in general trains Cha. I always get a boost while talking with Haathbar, or farmers, so it seems legit.

As for shopping, it's way quicker to have a bit more favourable shop prices by polymorphing into one of Petrus' wives. IIRC, number 6 has 80 Charisma. It only takes a ring of poly and some polycontrol, so it's not much of a struggle.

I was killing Haedlac, my mirrors killed Petrus. And he got one of them by beheading

Lol it failed. I lost nearly all of my 500hp wolves, and a leg, and my boot, while fighting Inlux outside of the cathedral, so I teleported away and quickly cloned the boot xD. Then I thought "Hey, I forgot to mirror". So I mirrored myself, and 4 Shotgun Romeos killed Petrus. I made myself comfy around the cathedral chasing renegade angels when suddenly Inlux spotted me alone and started making trouble in my neighbourhood. My limbs were the nieigbourhood. Then my life was saved by the amulet, but then it was the same old game. And I lost the game >.<! It was a typically IVAN death. But it was epic, should've recorded the whole storming.

Things we've learned:
-If You have 5 lyres of charm and a friend in Dulcis, use it. I did, and tamed almost everything I could.
-Wolves on steroids are cool and take on angel. I could possibly wait for them to get hungry and make them 1k hp .
-Taming the mystic frogs and putting them into a locked building is good
-As is making forts from wands of door creation

Thanks guys, especially Capristo

I want to go for the high priest ending, but never even seriously tried attacking Attnam. What should I know, what should I look out for and what should I do? The only team I have is an orc general + a couple of wolves. I have just about any item/scroll except for any kind of wish.

2 pics - one of my char, one of my wolfpack (I may overclock them a bit with large ommel bone chests, tell me whaddaya think)

Thanks in advance, guys!

angels and frogs
(...) Dark frogs kick ass too. Giant dark frogs are common and great. I often kill them and carry their bodies to another level so they don;t rot. use wands of ressurection. got an empty wand? make a 3*3 grid of frogs and break it (...).

Hey! That is awesome! Never done it! You're awesome, Sloberto!

Teleporting helps too somehow.

Yes, albeit only controlled teleportation, it seems.

Hiya!

I wish we'd have a guide how to get from 10 to 50 (and therefore 100) Int.

In this thread, post EVERY small idea how to increase Int. Charming monsters, when to sci-talk, which scrolls give the biggest boost... Let's collect data and make it real.

Oh, btw, I noticed, and it is 90% sure, that Int and Wis growth rates differ from char to char, like does Agi.

I attach a sketch of the latest 'guidebook'. Because I love pdf official strategy guides pro edition XP 9000.

Yes, they are blue in color. That's how I distinguished which fountain message grants perma, after all ;d

I think it's not the point now, Somagu

Permanent levitation, haste, polycontrol etc. from fountains is a completely different effect. Ever notice that in these rare occurences the message isn't "this wates tastes normal, but there is ann odd after taste"? It's This water tastes very odd. Now THAT message usually indicates You just got a hundred times more lucky than with a temp effect.

HOWEVER, if one would for example have ESP from eating a floating eye, and would happen to drink from a fountain and hit the "temporary ESP effect" a couple of times, it COULD become permanent. Then it's the same as when zapping ~40 wands of haste one oneself.
