Can we have the quote box show up on the welcome page above the recent forum topics?
System would indicate in graphic if person is mounted on horse or not.
Same system also show if person mounted on boar, elephant, polar bear etc.
Or if person mounted on ass.
Ivan find mounting on ass funny.

I feel like the software is still too tied to the old phpBB software it was based on a long, long time ago.

For example some of the settings are just strange. "Always attach my signature" - yes or no. Did people actually complain about not being able to disable their signature for certain posts?

Anyways I'm trying to rethink the whole website just to make it easier to discuss things without being stuck to the old idea of "forums" and without it being cluttered with things nobody uses.

Also just making small improvements, for example, you'll notice a lot of the URLs don't have integer IDs anymore

Sounds great. I wonder if we can set up some sort of formalised badge system for people who have peer-reviewed wins in IVAN 0.50 and IVAN CVS?

Any details on how this might work?

If I sort the community list by number of posts and try to go past the first page (either by clicking the >> arrow or on the page 2 icon) it defaults back to the baseline search, basically only allowing you to view the total posts of people on the first page. This is an unbelievable inconsequential bug, but i felt compelled to mention it nonetheless.

Well, there'd need to be badges according to the type of win. I suppose that's the easy part.
Then we'd need to have some minimum requirement on screenshots for submission. Maybe there could be a check-box in the settings where the game automatically generates screenshots when certain events occur: Elpuri dying, Oree dying, etc.
Then once the player reaches the high-score screen displaying a victory, the player gets the option of sending the victory info to attnam.com.

Only downside is it might be open to spam or fraud. I suppose it would only make sense if the player was a forum member...

Small thing I've added is when you do an Advanced Search, you can restrict to posts with attachments (and you can even choose which type of attachment)

can we have .7z attachements allowed? for some reason the forum allows .tar files, but not .7z, so i had to wrap my k8ivan windoze build in .7z.tar, which is… fun. %-)

Question, is there a specific reason the town always starts on a snow tile and has a snowy theme?
