finally made it past UT3 and to New Attnam. I followed that .pdf guide and got my agility to 16 by running around. did a little fighting with banna peels and got my dex to 13. I ended up using an ebony spear even though its two handed it was by far the best weapon I found. Did not find altars, but was able to beat the boss mob.

is a spear worth sticking with? right now Im at about a 50% bonus with it due to the number of hits. I thought 2 handed weapons train arm str, but it has not gone up. Im in new attnam. I think I need to talk to the guy at the temple. Have a little gold, but not that much. sold a few items. did not take alot, i was worried about going burdened for the long trip to New Attnam and starving. I starved once looking for it.

can you do anything with heads of corpses? arms/legs can supposedly be attached to you to make you stronger, etc... have not tried this.

- The great thing about spears is that they are part of the "pole arm" type which includes halberds. That means if you switch to a halberd (which is much more powerful, and will train your Arm Str very well), you won't lose that skill level. However, they are much more inaccurate. I would recommend switching to a halberd after you can enchant it a few times to increase the accuracy. Some people also like the runed spear Vermis which is a special item... personally the random effects just annoy me

- you won't find many things in UT that are valuable enough to sell, but GC will get you wealthy soon enough

- When you're on the world map press 'l' (lowercase L) and you can scroll around and find Attnam and Gloomy Caves and anything else on the map. They might be off the edge of the screen but you don't need to wander around and starve.

New Attnam is where you started, you're at old Attnam now
As mentioned above, yes. Spears are pretty decent all around and you can migrate to halberds or quarterstaffs if you want/need to.
You'll probably want to find a spear with a metal tip at some point though, as they can be hardened into much more powerful materials than the wood one you have currently.
Also if I'm not mistaken, spears train DEX rather than ASTR, probably why you're not noticing any ASTR gains.

I did say earlier in the thread that this does nothing. Organic limbs just keep your current stats no matter where they came from.

You also cannot attach foreign heads or limbs to yourself unless you are a zombie Nope, turns out you can't even do that, only AI controlled zombies can attach foreign limbs and heads to themselves - there's no command for it when you're playing as one. That means no, even if they did boost your stats you couldn't haul off a goblin arm to the priestess of Silva because she won't attach it in place of you old one. All she does is offer to grow you a new one.
As for the heads themselves, there's no use for them other than putting them back on their respective corpse so you can revive them.
System would indicate in graphic if person is mounted on horse or not.
Same system also show if person mounted on boar, elephant, polar bear etc.
Or if person mounted on ass.
Ivan find mounting on ass funny.
